Obituary for Viola Mae Ingle (Buchanan)

Edneyville – Viola Buchanan Ingle, 92 went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, May 1, 2012 at the Elizabeth House, Flat Rock, NC.
A native of Mitchell County, she was the daughter of the late Clyde James Buchanan and Edith Esther Rathbone Buchanan. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her first husband, Huey William Harris, her second husband, Robert Ingle, her brother, George Buchanan, twin brothers, Eugene and Floyd Buchanan, and sister, Bertha Moses.
Mrs. Ingle was a charter member of Calvary Baptist Church, Brevard, NC, and had attended Mountain Home Baptist Church in Edneyville. She was an accomplished artist and writer, and she enjoyed gardening, hunting and fishing. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great- great grandmother.
Surviving are her daughter, Virginia Jackson of Edneyville; son, Bill Harris and wife Shirley of Pisgah Forest; granddaughters, Sharon Searcy, Susan Garren, Sylvia Reed, and Wanda Guice; fourteen great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
The funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Friday, May 4, 2012 in the Moody-Connolly Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Craig Garren and Mark Searcy officiating. Burial will be in Blue Ridge Gardens of Memory.
The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 pm Thursday at the funeral home.
