Martha Melrose Barton Eubanks

Brevard – Martha Melrose Barton, Eubanks, 90, passed away on Thursday, April 10, 2014.
A native of Transylvania County, she was the daughter of the late Lonzo and Rhoda Capps Barton and was the wife of the late Charles Russell Eubanks. She was also preceded in death by her sisters, Conalouse Tillman, Elizabeth Galloway, and Aldrice Crawford.
Mrs. Eubanks was a member of Cathey’s Creek Baptist Church.
Surviving are her nieces and nephews, Wanda McCall, Ricky and Terry Galloway, Danny and Eugene Toole, Travie, Carolyn and Gladdie, L. E. and Doris Galloway; great niece, Katina Owen and husband Daniel.
The funeral service will be held at 11 AM Monday, April 14, 2014 at Cathey’s Creek Baptist Church with the Rev. Tommy Owen officiating. Burial will be in Glazener Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 PM Sunday at Moody-Connolly Funeral Home.
