Obituary for John Clarence Price

Brevard –John Clarence “J. C.” Price, 76, went to his Heavenly Home on Wednesday, March 9, 2016. He was the son of the late John N. and Mae Johnson Price of Brevard.
Mr. Price was a graduate of Brevard High School, an Ecusta retiree, and a Mason. He was a member of Carr’s Hill Baptist Church.
He was predeceased by his infant daughter, Dessie Elisabeth and his sister, Pat Woodson.
Mr. Price is survived by his wife of 49 years, Glenith Greene Price; one son, John A.; two granddaughters, Melissa and Megan; great-grandson, Jonathan (the apple of his eye); one special daughter-in-law, Lisa; two sisters, Virginia Penland and Dot Owen (Paul); step-son, Keith; two step-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 2 PM Saturday, March 12, 2016 at Carr’s Hill Baptist Church with Pastor Shane Hardesty presiding. The family will receive friends following the service
