Obituary for Isaac Webb Tinsley

Isaac Webb Tinsley
Isaac W. Tinsley of Brevard, NC, and Knoxville, TN, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, December 17, 2016, after a yearlong fight with Leukemia.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Papa Earl and Mama Jane Powell; his great grandmother Marie Ledbetter; and two special cousins, Blake and Eli Powell.
Isaac was born in Brevard, NC, on June 24, 1986, and lived most of his life there. He has lived, and worked, in Newport, TN; Athens, GA; Paducah, KY; Louisville, KY; and Oak Ridge, TN. In between those times, he traveled across the USA and into Canada filming big game hunts for the Sportsman Channel. Isaac was saved at the age of 13 at an old fashioned tent meeting. He then surrendered to preach at the age of 19. His purpose in life was to win as many people to the Lord as possible. He loved motivating people to “Never stop becoming more.” and loved preaching about His Lord and Savior.
He is survived by his parents, Larry and Lynne Tinsley of Brevard; his brother Caleb Tinsley of Chapel Hill, NC; his sisters Hannah and Rebekah Tinsley of Brevard; grandparents Donald “Bud” and Martha Tinsley of Brevard; fiancé Havyn Adams of Lenoir City, TN, as well as a host of other family and friends. Isaac believed the Lord wanted to do big things for His children, and always said “Don’t limit a limitless God”.
The family will be receiving friends at Anchor Baptist Church, 3232 Hendersonville Hwy., Pisgah Forest, NC, on Tuesday, December 20th from 6:00 – 8:00 pm. The funeral service will be Wednesday, December 21st, at Anchor Baptist Church at 1:00pm with burial to follow. The service will be officiated by Isaac’s former pastor, Randy Barton, his current pastor, Jeff Waldrop, and his dad, Evangelist Larry Tinsley.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that contributions be made to Anchor Baptist Missions International, 3232 Hendersonville Hwy., Pisgah Forest, NC 28768.
