Obituary for Henrietta Revis Owens (Revis)
Henrietta Revis Owens, born February 27, 1943, went to her forever home on January 25, 2017.
She was preceded in death by her parents Anderson and Myrtle Revis, her grandson Brandon Owens and her great grandson Lincoln Holden.
She was the heart and soul of her extremely large and blessed family. Henrietta is loved by many members of the community. She retired from the dietary at Transylvania Community Hospital where she worked for many years. Her love for Elvis, celebrity gossip and sweets kept us all laughing and entertained. Her sweet smile will never be forgotten. To know her was to love her and she will forever be in our hearts.
She is survived by Franklin Owens and Donald Reese, the fathers of her 9 children, Tammy Johnson (Larry), Cathy Conley, Angela Grimmitt (Todd), Pamela Hogsed (Dave), Donna Owens, Dale Owens (Christy), Shane Owens (Jennifer), Shawna Shook (Kevin), and Kayla Reese. She is also survived by 21 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, one sister Shelby Jean Mason (Lloyd) and many nephews and nieces.
Memorial services will be held 2pm, Sunday, January 29, 2017 at Moody-Connolly Funeral Home. The family will receive friends following the service.
