Obituary for Viola Imogene Snipes (Ashe)
Rosman – Viola Ashe Snipes, 88, passed away on Thursday, March 16, 2017.
She was the daughter of the late Thomas and Inez Brown Ashe. She was preceded in death by her husband, Craig D. Snipes, Sr., son; Craig D. Snipes, Jr., daughter; Linda S. Woody and brother; Cebren Brown.
Survivors include her daughter; Brenda S. Dellinger Mooresville, NC, brothers; Robert McLendon and wife Vera of Greensboro, NC and James Owens of Pisgah Forest, sister; Virginia Holland of Pisgah Forest, daughter in law; Jean Snipes of Lake Toxaway, sister in law; Mary Lou Brown of Rosman, grandchildren; Matthew, Michael, Kim, Daniel and wife Dana, Angie, Mark and Dale and wife Tracy, five great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held 12noon, Tuesday, March 21, 2017 at Moody-Connolly Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Blue Ridge Gardens of Memory.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Transylvania County VFW Post 4309, Nicholson Creek Road, Brevard, NC or the American Legion, 55 E. Jordan Street, Brevard, NC 28712.
