Obituary for Judy Israel Newsome

Judy Israel Newsome, 64, passed away Sunday, March 26, 2017, after a short illness.

A native of Brevard, she was the daughter of the late Clarence W. Israel and Alma Altman, of Asheville. She was preceded in death by a brother, Michael Israel.

She was an adored mother, daughter, grandmother and sister.

Survivors include her daughters, Jennifer Boothe (Glen), Jill Ouellette (Mike), Kara Newsome and Aubrey Newsome, all of Augusta, Ga .; a brother, Gary Israel (Becky), of Connecticut; a sister, Diane (John), of Brevard; and nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

The funeral services will be a graveside service at Davidson River Ceme-tery, Friday, April 7, 2017, at 2 p.m.

The family will receive friends following the service at the home of John and Dianne Galloway, 414 Israel Road, in Brevard.
