Brevard – Margert Pearl Sheehan Whitmire, 77, passed away on Tuesday, April 18, 2017.

She was the daughter of the late Hillard and Hattie Watson Sheehan. She was preceded in death by her husband Roland Edward Whitmire, daughter; Hester Queen, brothers; Gregg and Ed Sheehan and infant son; Wayne Whitmire.

Survivors include her sons; Marvin Whitmire and wife Brenda of Melbourne, FL and Tommy Whitmire of Brevard, daughters; Marcell Chapman and husband Bobby Joe of Pickens, SC, Hattie Baker and husband Andy of Brevard, Susan Morris and husband Scott of Brevard, Martha Whitmire of Brevard and Misty McBride and husband Sean of Coeurd’alene, ID, brothers; Daniel Sheehan and wife Carol of Seneca, SC, Dwight Sheehan and wife Doris of Pisgah Forest, Roger Sheehan and wife Edith of Brevard and Chester Sheehan and wife Rose of Asheville, sisters; Edna Bryson of Glenville, NC and Bonnie Whitlock of Brevard; grandchildren; Rolanda, Joshua, Amanda, Chris, Kyle, Michelle, Ronnie, Carla, Joseph, Dylan, McClane, Patience, Adam, Michael and Zander; many great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be held 2pm, Friday, April 21, 2017 at the Rosman Church of God with the Rev. Michael Pressley officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
