Obituary for Madison Asbury Rahn
Pisgah Forest– Madison A. Rahn, 87, passed away Wednesday, April 26, 2017.
He was born August 14, 1929, to parents Preston Augustus and Kathrine Graham Rahn. He was preceded in death by his wife Jeannette Foster Rahn.
Madison was a long-time resident of Transylvania County, and was a graduate of Brevard High School Class of 1945. He worked at DuPont for 30 years. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean Conflict. Madison was a Long-time member at FUMC Brevard.
He is survived by his daughters, Karen Denise Rahn Kiser (Steve) and Suzanne Rahn Shope (Mike) and grandson Blake Shope.
Family will receive visitors Saturday April 29, 2017 at 1:00 PM. Service will be at 2:00 PM at FUMC Brevard.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to FUMC Brevard or Sharing House of Transylvania County.
