Obituary for Debra Jean Walker (Wicker)

Pisgah Forest – Debra Jean Wicker Walker, 55, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, May 26, 2017.
A native of Transylvania County she was preceded in death by her father, James Beecher Wicker, and her husband, Eugene Walker.
Mrs. Walker was a very active member of Turkey Creek Baptist Church. She was a Tax Appraiser employed by the Transylvania County Tax Assessor office.
Survivors include her mother, Joyce Davis Wicker of Brevard; several aunts, uncles and cousins.
The funeral service will be held at 2 PM Tuesday, May 30, 2017 at Turkey Creek Baptist Church. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Turkey Creek Cemetery.
