Obituary for Shirley Ann Cison (Owen)

Travelers Rest, SC – Shirley Owen Cison, 79, formerly of Brevard was called to heaven on Monday, June 12, 2017.

She was the daughter of the late Glen Owen. She was preceded in death by her husband; Clifford Cison, daughters; Cathy Murphy Davis and Joyce Murphy Reese, grandson; Danny Davis.

Survivors include her mother; Lois Owen, son; Lawton Murphy, two daughters; Patsy Case and Joann McIntosh, six brothers; James, Wayne Steve, Robert, Carlos and Bobby Owen, sisters; Mary Ellen Parker and Christine Sprouse, 11 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held 2pm, Saturday, June 17, 2017 at Carson Creek Baptist Church. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
