Michael Jimmy McCall "Bigun", 55, of Pisgah Forest passed away on June 28, 2017.
He was a native of Transylvania County and employee of the City of Hendersonville. He enjoyed working on the family farm - raising Jacob sheep - and was an avid NASCAR fan. He loved God, his family, and his country.
He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Allison Wilkie McCall and two sons, Tyler J. McCall and partner Eric Campbell of Chicago and Matthew C. McCall of Pisgah Forest.
He is also survived by four brothers, Audie McCall, wife Janet and daughter Lacee; Joey McCall, wife Angie and sons Kyle (wife Ashley) and Chris; David McCall, wife Christy and daughter Rebecca Sizemore (husband AJ and son Silas); Clark McCall, daughter Hailey; and his brother and sister-in-law Brantley and Pam Wilkie, sons Raynor (wife Heather and daughters Arwen and Alana) and Shawn Galloway (wife Jenna and sons Kainen and Jase); numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was the son of James Emory McCall and Alma Hoxit McCall of Pisgah Forest. And he was preceded in death by one brother, Anthony McCall, and his mother and father-in-law, Rebecca and Howard Wilkie.
The family wishes to thank and recognize their close family friends Tony and Becky Gant of Pisgah Forest, son Matthew, daughter Brooke (fiancé Ronnie), and grandson Carter, for their love and support.
A celebration of life service will be held at the family's farm at 1260 Everett Road in Pisgah Forest on Saturday, July 8 at 2pm with a pig picking to follow.
