Stephen Edward O’Shields, 52, of Brevard passed away August 10, 2017.
He was the son of the late Edward and Carolyn O’Shields.
A lifelong resident of Brevard, Stephen will be remembered for his talents in auto restoration and custom body and framework. His works are admired often at classic and custom car shows. Stephen was also fond of NASCAR racing, having been a member and pit crew member. He was well known in the racing world as a young and rising talent, from engine building to body work.
Stephen leaves behind three sons, Blake, Alex, Eric and his wife Jessie; two grandchildren, Kinslee and Noah; two sisters, Stephanie O’Shields, Lisa Riddle; two nieces, Leslie Corn and Kisa Bracken; two great nephews, Colton and Levi.
The funeral service will be held at 6 PM Monday, August 14, 2017 at Morningside Baptist Church. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family to assist with funeral expenses.
