Moody-Connolly Funeral Home and Crematory

The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Thomas Genaw can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolence From: Ann Wilkinson
Condolence: I am so saddened to learn of Tom's passing. He used to come by the Duke Power business office where I worked in the 80's. All of our employees anticipated his Tuesday visit! He was so kind, nice, and funny. I make weekly visits to The Oaks, and when I first saw him, I reintroduced myself - and he remembered me - such a compliment.
"But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint."

Condolence From: Rebecca W. Broadbent, DVM
Condolence: My husband and I owned Brevard Animal Hospital for many years. Mr Genaw came to our business frequently as the Charles Chip Rep. We referred to him as "Mr Chips". He was the sweetest, kindest man and always a pleasant person to have visit our business. After we sold our practice and he retired we would bump into him in town. Again the sweetest smile and kind man is what I'll always remember.
Condolences to all the family,
Rebecca and Andy Broadbent
