Obituary for Laura Mae Green (Raxter)

Lake Toxaway - Laura Mae Raxter Green passed from this life to her heavenly home on January 27, 2018 at 11:44am.
She was the baby daughter of the late Perry Elzie and Reba McGaha Raxter. She was born in Brevard and lived her childhood on a dairy farm on the banks of the French Broad River. She was fearless and memorable with her feisty personality in her little red convertible.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, her parents, husband, Donald Green, one life partner, Donald Boland, three brothers, Alvin, Calvin and Condon Raxter, six sisters, Alma Raxter, Agnes Henderson, Clara Surrette, Maude Vaughn, Margaret Orr and Nadine Ashe.
She is survived by four children, Kim Chappell and husband, Tony Harrell, Lori Vaughan and husband Joe, Monty Burrell and wife, Juanelle and Hettie Lance and husband, Eddie; three brothers, Perry, Preston and Walter Raxter; one sister, Geraldine Paxton; 16 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren who loved their Mamaw Bam Bam.
