Roger Lee  Queen
Roger Lee Queen, 71, passed away on Tuesday, February 27, 2018.
A native of Transylvania County, he was the son of the late Farrell and Dovie Ann Patterson Queen. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, J. B. Queen and Gerald Queen, and a step-son, Randy Orr.
Mr. Queen was a 1966 graduate of Rosman High School and was the owner of Queens Wrecker Service. He never met a stranger and he loved his children. He was a NASCAR and Classic Country fan. He enjoyed going to flea markets with his grandbabies and spoiling them rotten.
Survivors include his wife, Betty Clayton Queen; three children, Christie DeMoss, Lee Aiken and Teresa Aiken; two step-children, Freda Dills and Gary Orr; three sisters, Maxine Lance, Alene Queen, and Kathy Aiken; one brother, Kenneth Queen; nine grandchildren, six great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 2 until 3 pm Friday, March 2, 2018 at Old Toxaway Baptist Church. A graveside service will follow at 3 PM in the church cemetery.
