Moody-Connolly Funeral Home and Crematory

The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Cornelia Stewart can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence From: Tommy and Marie Hooper
Condolence: Thoughts of Mrs. Stewart brings a lifetime of memories of her and her family and our times shared at church, school and in the community.l We attended church with all of the family, played in the yard after school and in the summers with Wanda and Larry and loved Sheila as the newest, wonderful addition to the family. Our mom, Katy, loved and cared so much for Cornelia and they became closer as they shared life as widows. Our mom and dad considered Sheila another church daughter and took such pride in her academic and biblical studies. Her daughters brought both of them much joy. We grieve with you the loss of a beloved mother. Sheila you are to be commended for your loving care. Our thoughts and prayers are with each of you.

Condolence: Dennis, Larry, & Shelia, We are very sorry for the loss of Aunt Cornelia. I've always thought the world of her. I want to especially say sorry to you Dennis, since you & Barbara took care of her the first seven years of this journey. Its been a long journey, but one you never thought twice about when it came to her care. We could see how happy she was when we visited. We will also miss her & the beautiful stories of her & my daddy's childhood. May God Bless and direct you through your loss.

Condolence: I am sorry you have lost your mother! Mothers can never be replaced, but one day we can see our special mothers again in heaven, where your mother is now rejoicing and have a wonderful time watching over everyone from above.
