Obituary for Rachel Breedlove Swangim (Breedlove)
Rachel Breedlove Swangim, 69, of Pisgah Forest passed away Tuesday, March 27, 2018.
She was the daughter of the late Howard and Betty Jean Bryson Breedlove. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 33 years, Russell Swangim, a brother Melvin Breedlove, and a sister Teresa Breedlove.
She is survived by a daughter, Wendy Swangim of Etowah, son Scott Swangim and Jodie of Pisgah Forest, granddaughter Sydney Hogsed, and grandsons Cody, Cole, and Cameron Swangim. She is also survived by sisters Delores Lane and husband Lynn of Brevard, Emily Roberts and husband Mark of Marshall, Cathy Breedlove of Candler, Wanda Williams and husband Ronnie of Seneca, SC, and a brother Chris Breedlove of Candler. She also leaves behind a number of nieces and nephews.
Visitation for friends and family will be held Friday, March 30th from 6-8pm at Moody-Connolly Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Rachel Swangim's memory to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
