William Travis Buchanan of Brevard, NC age 42 went to be with the Lord on Friday April 6, 2018. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Walter and Margie Buchanan, paternal grandparents Jack and Ruby Barker, and his brother Christopher Dylan Buchanan, as well as several aunt’s uncles and cousins.
Travis enjoyed traveling, spending time with his family and friends, and fishing. He has left behind his mother Mary Galloway of Brevard; father and stepmother Cannie and Rae Barker of Gastonia; five sisters, Shay Bridges (Chris) of Jacksonville, FL, Crystal Galloway (TJ) of Rosman, Millie Woody (Matthew) of Cheyenne, Wyoming, Enna Jane Freeman (Price) of Kings Mountain, NC, and Molly Barker of Greenville, SC; two brothers, Robert Galloway Jr. of Lake Toxaway, NC and Jessie Barker of Lincolnton, NC; five nephews and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Travis also left behind his girlfriend Britney Tallent and her daughter of Franklin, NC.
The family will receive friends from 6 – 8 pm on Thursday April 12, 2018 at Moody-Connolly Funeral Home 181 S Caldwell St, Brevard, NC 2871.
