Obituary for Ashley Gail Nicholson (Nicholson)
Ashley Gail Nicholson, 33, of Brevard ended her long suffering and went home to be with the Lord on April 10, 2018 after a long battle with a brain tumor.
She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Rilla Johnson Nicholson and Furber Nicholson and Juanita and Leward Hoxit.
She has been a member of the Easley Presbyterian Church since November 2011 in Easley South Carolina. She loved the Lord, her children and her family. Her pastor said she was known as “MOMMA BEAR”. She was a very special mother and person. Her favorite things in life were being a mom and photography. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
She leaves behind her precious children, Emma Jade Wilson and Aiden Colt Wilson, parents, Furber Allen Nicholson of Brevard NC and Patsy Hoxit Nicholson of Tuckasegee NC, brother, Kyle Allen Nicholson Liberty SC, nephew, Koah Nicholson also of Liberty SC, best friend, Becca Scott of Easley SC and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
A special heartfelt thank you to Pat Galloway and Judy Jackson (Ashley’s Aunts) for the love and care they gave, the staff at Mission Hospital and the nurses on the Cancer wing at St. Joseph’s Hospital
A Celebration of Her Life will be held at Moody Connolly Chapel in Brevard NC on Friday April 13, 2018 from 6-8 pm.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made at any Wells Fargo Bank, c/o the “Donation Fund for Ashley Nicholson”. This account has been set up for Ashley’s children.
