Condolence: Dear Paula, I learned several weeks ago from my son John that Earl was very sick. I wanted to see him but didn't know how to get in touch to see about a visit. I regret that and hope you will forgive me for not making it happen. Even though we didn't see much of each other these past several years, Earl was a special friend going back to Army days and from my early time in Brevard. I know his passing is a deep loss to you and your family, but it is also a loss to me as well. I retired almost two years ago, so I am unable to do anything for you in connection with legal matters. Condolence: Paula, it is with my regret that we have not seen each other for awhile and that I pass on my heartfelt condolence in this manner. I do know that Chub was a fine person, a great friend to me, and someone who loved and admired you. He loved and admired his "kids" down to and including those great grand children. I missed our times chasing cars at the auctions and other foolish times running the road. Farewell good friend. May you finally find "peace without pain" in your new life.
