John Edward Cunningham, 98, of Rosman, passed away on Wednesday, May 9, 2018.
He was the son of the late Edward and Catherine Corley Cunningham. He was preceded in death by his son, John Cunningham, Jr.
Mr. Cunningham proudly served in the U. S. Army under General Patton. He was a soft spoken, simple man that loved life.
Survivors include his son, Norm Cunningham and wife Sharon of Rosman, daughter, Eva Burgess and husband Raymond of Moorestown, NJ, daughter in law, Kathleen Cunningham of Hammonton, NJ, grandchildren Norman, Sherri, Raymond, Eva, Laura, Kimberly, Allison, Diane and John and 17 great grandchildren.
Graveside Services will be held 11:30am, Saturday, May 12, 2018 at Blue Ridge Gardens of Memory with military honors provided by the Transylvania County Honor Guard. The family will receive friends from 10am until 11am at Moody-Connolly Funeral Home.
