John Thomas Garren, 70, of West Union, SC, formerly of Brevard, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, May 10, 2018.
Born June 2, 1947, he was the son of the late Henry Edgar Garren Jr, and Mattie Redden Garren.
John proudly served in the U. S. Air Force as a jet engine mechanic during the Vietnam War. He retired from Agfa where he had been employed as a master mechanic. He was a lifetime member of the VFW and American Legion. John also served as the Commander of VFW post #4309 and American Legion post #88 in Brevard.
