Helen Warren, 95, of Brevard passed away on Thursday, June 14, 2018. A native of New Jersey, Helen had resided in Brevard for the past 32 years.
She was the daughter of the late Earl Scott Wemple and Mary Josephine Wemple. Helen was also preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Vern Warren, three brothers, John, Earl, Gerald and one sister, Mamie.
She was someone who has loved her family and who always put others before herself. She was strong and independent to the end. We love you and miss you, but we know you are now happy and at peace.
Survivors include four children: daughters Helen Marie “Nikki” DeFazio and spouse Ken, Maggie “Beanie” Warren and spouse Kristy, Kay Young and spouse John, and son Matthew Warren; four grandchildren, Joey, J.R. and spouse Missy, Brent, Katy; four great-grandchildren, Savanna, David, Aiden, Leigha.
A celebration of her life will be held on August 11, 2018 at 11 AM in the Moody-Connolly Funeral Home Chapel. A reception will follow at 141 Delphia Dr., Brevard, NC.
