Vessie James Ashe, 89, of Brevard, passed away on Monday, June 25, 2018.
He was the son of the late Luster and Sarah Greene Ashe. He was preceded in death by his wife, Frances Swangim Ashe, son, Ronnie Ashe, brothers, Tom, Virgil, Arnold and Clarence Ashe and sisters, Bessie Ashe, Margie Buchanan, Margaret Mills and Marie Whitener.
Survivors include his daughter, Judy Ashe of Brevard and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held 12pm, Thursday, June 28, 2018 in the chapel of Moody-Connolly Life Celebration. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow the service in Blue Ridge Gardens of Memory.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to his daughter, Judy Ashe.
