Louise Orr Tinsley, age 74, of Brevard, passed away on Wednesday, July 4, 2018.
A native of Transylvania County, she was the daughter of the late Lewis and Ida Lyday Orr. She was also preceded in death by two sisters; Opal Orr Brown and Emogene Orr Spates; one infant sister, Ann Orr, and three brothers; Clyde Orr, James Orr, and Emerlyn Orr.
She was an avid nature lover who enjoyed flower gardening. She was a lifelong animal lover and devotee to animal welfare, as well as an accomplished equestrian. She had a fun, adventuresome spirit and will be remembered for her love and devotion to her family and friends.
Survivors include her husband of 57 years, Frank E. Tinsley; one daughter, Rhonda Tinsley Rogers and husband John of Brevard; one son, Chris Tinsley and wife Portia of Brevard; one sister, Faye R. Orr of Etowah; one brother-in-law, Bob Brown of Hendersonville; and one grandson, Ryan C. Tinsley.
The family will receive friends from 5 – 7 PM Saturday, July 7, 2018 at Moody-Connolly Funeral Home.
