History of the Funeral Home
Moody-Connolly Funeral Home began as The Osbourne-Simpson Funeral Home and then the Moody-Choate Funeral Home. During the 1920’s and 1930’s, Frank Moody became the sole owner and the name was changed to Moody Funeral Home. In 1974 the funeral home was acquired by John and Margie Connolly at which time the name was changed to Moody-Connolly Funeral Home as it remains to this day.
As of March 2009 the funeral home has been under the leadership of Chris Biecker and his wife Suzy. Chris has been involved in the funeral profession for 35 years, a member of Rotary International and serves on several local public service boards.
Moody-Connolly has served the communities of Brevard, Pisgah Forest, Rosman, Lake Toxaway, Balsam Grove, Henderson, and Jackson counties for more than thirty years.
