Condolence From: Dottie and Jan Schipper
Condolence: Butch: Jan and I are so sorry to read about the passing of your mother. I remember her (And your father) very well from the "old' days at Caesar's Head and Cedar Mountain. We used to come to "Ollie's" for an ice cream or coke with my mother, and then with our own children. Then I saw Ruby after the store closed at the Post Office and loved chatting with her. I know what a devoted son you were; and that can give you comfort. What a long life she lived. You are proud of your heritage and of her loving care. I hope to see you soon in the mountains. With all sympathy,
Dottie and Jan

Condolence: Ameran, I am so sorry to hear of the passing of your mother. And I wish I could have made the funeral service but I am out of town. Your mom was a special lady. I remember as a kid meeting her quite a few times when she and your dad had the store in Cedar Mountain. My dad and I would stop there on the way to Caesar's Head and buy Vienna sausages and crackers for a picnic. Your mom was always smiling and cheerful and always had something nice to say. She was a sweet lady. She will be missed by everyone who knew her.

Condolence: We are sad to hear about Ruby passing. She was one of the first people Jim and I met when we moved here 34 years ago. Ruby was a delight to know and will be missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her over the years. Our condolences to her family.

Condolence From: Keith Parker (& Jonlyn)
Condolence: Ameran and all, your Mom and Dad were so much a part of our community during my growing up years. Her loss is the passing of an era. I am sad with you but thankful she could be with us so long and bring so much humor and kindness to all of us. I am unable to be there Saturday as I am doing a memorial service for a first cousin in Sylva then.
God bless, Keith

Condolence: My heart is sad, and I am praying for all of the family and friends at this time of grief. Celebrate her life with joy as she was truly a beautiful person inside and out. I remember her father and mother well and their family was a part of my growing up years. Ruby was so sweet and always treated me as if I was her own. I wish I could be there for the services, but I cannot. God bless you, her family, and may He continue to bless you always. She was truly a remarkable and inspiring lady.
