Obituary for Barbara Kilpatrick (Exum)
Lake Toxaway – Barbara Kilpatrick, 77, formerly of Frostproof, FL, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, June 23, 2017.
She was the daughter of the late Arnie and Ole B. Duncan Exum. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jackie Kilpatrick, daughter; Kim Beebe, brother; Joseph Hubert and sister; Nonie Wyatt.
Barbara was employed by Transylvania County Schools as a bus driver for many years. She loved all the students whom she carefully transported each day to school and then home.
Survivors include her daughter, Loretta Lance and husband Kent, sons; Kelvin Kilpatrick and wife Linda and Robert Kilpatrick and wife Mary all of Lake Toxaway, sister; Vivian Joiner of Naples, FL, grandchildren; Tina(Jody), Amy(Chris), Roserin, Kenneth, Debra(Dustin), Janie(John), Nathaniel(Jessica), Blake(Audria), Gunner, Chasity and grandson and his wife, great grandchildren; Jessica, Joshua, Landan, Cierra, DeAnna, Alaina, Shawn, Trinity, Saria, D.C., Olivia, Sophia, Jackson, Sean, Tyler and Caitlin and one great -great grandchild; Tierney.
Funeral services will be held 3pm, Tuesday, June 27, 2017 at Macedonia Baptist Church conducted by Revs. Ray Von Galloway, Burlis Powell and Paul Raines. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in Mack McCall Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Mack McCall Cemetery Fund, 300 Kitchen Loop Road, Lake Toxaway, NC 28747.
