Moody-Connolly Funeral Home and Crematory

The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of James Maney can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolence From: Earl & Margie Douthit
Condolence: We only learned today,January 11, of the passing of "Russ" in the Smoky Mountain Times. We have had no closer relationship than the Maney family, Homer and Laura, Ernest and Barbara and their children. Mr. and Mrs, Maney were a blessing to Margie and me in the rearing of our children, James and Judy. We send our condolences especially to Louise and to all other members of the family. The Lord Bless.
Earl, Margie, James and Judy Douthit-Couch.

Condolence From: Nathan
Condolence: Please accept my condolences for the passing of your dear loved one. When someone we love dies, the heartache and grief can be great. I hope that you can be comforted knowing that God cares for you and sees your pain. (1 Peter 5:7) "He is close to the brokenhearted and He saves those who are crushed in spirit. (Psalm 34:18) May you find comfort and relief during this grievous time, as you cherish the precious memories of James.
