Obituary for Isabella Pratt Lynch (Simpson)
Isabel P. Lynch
Isabella Pratt Simpson was born on 6 May 1936 in Philadelphia, PA to immigrant parents from Scotland and Ireland. She died 10 March 2018 in Transylvania Regional Hospital after a long illness. She met her future husband, Fred Lynch, in first grade in Sharon Hill, PA. After high school she attended Presbyterian Hospital School of Nursing in Philadelphia, PA and started her career caring for and helping people. Locally, Isabel was involved with Rise and Shine and other community organizations. Isabel will be sorely missed by her family and friends for her love and encouragement for everyone!
Isabel is preceded in death by her parents, Mary Wilson Bryce and Edmund Campbell Simpson, her sister, Eileen Elizabeth Simpson Pierce and her son, Douglas Brian Lynch. She is survived by her husband, Fred Lynch, her son and his wife, Norman and Kerry Lynch, her daughter-in-law, Marjorie Marshall, and grandson, Kyle Lynch.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at the Unitarian Universalists of Transylvania County on Monday, 19 March, 2018 at 11:00 AM.
