Donald Voglesong driving "Laps around Louisville KY"

When my father Donald and mother Mary Martha retired in 1988, they moved back to Martha’s parents’ Coen and Corinne Batman house, where David and Barbara Voglesong live today in English Indiana. My father’s night vision was not so good, so when they had to drive to the nearest big city Louisville in Kentucky, they had to watch for the right exit from the interstate highway circle, called “Watterson Expressway” which makes a circle around Louisville. Sometimes they would miss the right exit and then mother would count how many “laps” they drove around Louisville’s “Galt House-Hotel” on the Ohio River. We gave my father a nickname for driving was “Mr. McGoo” the cartoon of an old man who always drove lost and confused.
